Data We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Email address — collected at purchase and used to deliver your license key and account-related communications.
- License key and activation data — we store your license key, the number of activated devices, and activation timestamps to enforce license limits.
- Usage analytics (optional, anonymous) — crash reports and aggregate usage statistics to improve the product. No personal files or file paths are ever transmitted.
We do not collect, read, or transmit any files from your computer. PixRecover operates entirely locally on your machine.
How We Use It
We use your information to:
- Deliver your license key after purchase
- Validate your license when you activate PixRecover on a PC
- Send important product updates and security notices
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may process your data:
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing. Your payment card data is handled directly by Lemon Squeezy and is never stored on our servers. See Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — database hosting for license records. Data is stored in the EU region.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for license and receipt emails.
